DESCRIPTION:Laura Rathe Fine Art (LRFA) is pleased to announce the opening of its first Austin location with the inaugural exhibition\, Austin Bound\, opening Saturday\, March 28\, from 6:00 – 9:00 PM. This milestone marks a significant moment in the gallery’s continued growth as a female-owned gallery with more than 25 years of presence in Texas\, bringing its acclaimed program of cutting-edge artwork to Central Texas\, showcasing international and national artists selected for their technical mastery\, pure color expression\, and strong narrative vision. After more than 15 years of envisioning a presence in Austin\, founder Laura Rathe brings her thoughtfully curated program to West 5th Street\, strategically positioned at the edge of downtown. With two galleries in Houston and one in Dallas already established\, the new Austin location strengthens LRFA’s statewide footprint while creating meaningful opportunities to engage new collectors\, collaborate with the design and architectural community\, and introduce audiences to works that invite connection – and make you fall in love with art. Austin Bound presents a curated selection of the gallery’s artists\, featuring bold contemporary works across sculpture\, painting\, installation\, and optical art that reflect LRFA’s distinctive vision.
