ReCollections provides a dementia friendly environment for reminiscing and conversation while viewing and creating art!
Trained museum staff will lead conversations and art making during this interactive program held within the galleries of the museum. This specially designed program invites all individuals living with dementia and their loved ones to attend and connect with others, while engaging with the visual arts.
Join us at the San Antonio Museum of Art for conversations and hands on activities, inspired by works of art in the museum’s galleries and collection.
Lunch, art supplies and parking will be provided, courtesy of Meals on Wheels SA/ Grace Place and the San Antonio Museum of Art. Attendees will also receive free admission for the museum for the day.
All are welcome, but space is limited. Register today! For more information, email floresm16@uthscsa.edu or call Tripp Cardiff at (210) 978-8141.
* This program is a partnership between UT Health San Antonio Biggs Institute and Caring for the Caregiver Program, Alzheimer's Association, Meals on Wheels SA/Grace Place and the San Antonio Museum of Art.
