“THE NUTCRACKER” CONTINUES THIS WEEKEND
If you want to get into the holiday mood, head down to the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts this weekend to see Ballet San Antonio’s spirited production of “The Nutcracker.” The music, the dancing, the growing Christmas Tree, the battle of the mice and toy soldiers, and the Sugar Plum Fairy – it’s all there, charming, comforting and festive.
There are four performances left, all performed to live music by the San Antonio Symphony. A “celebrity guest” will make an appearance at each show: Ursula Pari (Friday at 7:30 p.m.), Charles Gonzalez of the Rosella Coffee Company (Saturday at 2 p.m.), former Spurs player Matt Bonner (Saturday 7:30 p.m.) and Eleanora Morrison (Sunday at 2 p.m.)
