Lapins D’or – Bibbi Anderson Exhibit at AnArte
AnArte Gallery is delighted to be hosting the opening reception for Bibbi Anderson exhibit entitled “Lapins D’or” on Thursday, June, 18, from 6- 8 pm! Champagne reception, DJ Music, art talk at 6:45 pm and more! Masks, Sanitizing, and Social Distance REQUIRED, all are welcome. Bibbi states, “Rabbitry at its finest! Who doesn’t love rabbits: Wild Hares? Soft Bunnies? Peter Rabbit? Bugs Bunny? and the list goes on… Painting this series of Golden Hares- portraying each with its unique personality- has been an inspiring way to spend time in my studio during this quarantine. I do hope that this series “Lapins D’or” truly gives you pause for some joys in your life too! ‘An Artists is no paid for his labor but for his vison’… well said James Whistler” Bibbi Anderson is a Texas based artist who specializes in oil, pastel and watercolor paintings. She is an Impressionistic and Contemporary Representational artist with artwork styles to include figurative, still life, landscape and abstract. Anderson studied at Glassell School of Art, Scottsdale Artist School, and also studied with the several Master artists, including CW Mundy, Carolyn Anderson, Milt Kobashi, Peggy Kroll Roberts, Stanka Kordick, V. Vaughn, Phil Starke, Kim English, Michael Carson, Quang Ho, Robert Moore, David Shevlino, Maggie Ciner and many others. Bibbi has won awards from Woodlands Art League’s Spring WAL Show 2016, Spring WAL Show 2017, as well as an Honorable Mention from Oil Painters of America’s Fall online show, 2015.
